What better way to diagnose a sick machine than leave it plugged in and recreate the issue(s) right there... When you drop your PC off at the shop, they've no idea how you use it or where all your valuable data may be stored... Too often the answer is a fast sloppy format and reload, and you may have just lost everything, all that precious data. We make every effort to backup/save your data before any repairs are made. We've been at this many years and KNOW how long it takes to perform certain tasks, the amount of time a given program might take to scan for infection.., we know "what" to look for - and how to deal with it. We see it every day. Many things can be done in an hour, some things just can't, even two. For anyone to claim otherwise is simply false.
And this is why we have two (2) pricing plans..,
$45 per hour in your home or small office (for things that can be performed in an hour or 2),
or the $9999 Full Meal Deal, a complete & total software restoration.

Hardware issues and/or upgrades are different of course depending on the type of hardware and exactly what needs to be done. Pretty standard though, parts & labor.., whatever it takes (call for details).
We No Fix - You No Pay!

Fully licensed and a member of the local Better Business Bureau. If for any reason an issue can't be corrected (or possibly resolved with a reasonable work-around), there's no charge for our time. We also don't make "unauthorized" repairs or try to sell you things you don't need or will never use. We just don't do business that way.
(Recently in an elderly client's home I'd noticed the back of the machine had extra unused USB and firewire cards installed.., so I inquired "why?". They said "another local computer service" insisted they needed them "to make their machine run better". Complete & utter nonsense. A blatant rip-off. Again, we just don't do business that way!)
The Free Diagnosis Ploy. A common ruse to get a foot in your door (the vacuum
cleaner salesman who cleans your rug for free then won't leave till you buy one). What do you expect.., they come diagnose your machine for free so you can call someone else cheaper to actually come fix it? I doubt it...
Once in your home they likely expect to fix the problem as well (at the regular hourly rate plus travel & whatever else). We don't offer a free diagnosis, we come to your home or small business and start to work as soon as we get there (We've probably seen this one before), and at $45 per, we're still less expensive than someone offering that "free diagnostic"!
(Technically you could say we do a free diagnostic.., a minute or two after entering your door and looking at your machine... We've probably seen this issue before.., really!)
Upgrades, Reconfigurations? Has your machine slowed down, need tuned up or reconfigured for optimal performance? Let us check it out - see what it needs. Certain software issues/upgrades can be performed on the spot, minor hardware upgrades (extra cards, memory, etc.) can usually be performed in your home (or small business) as well.
